It is important we take a moment now to understand who these McCain supporters are, and why they're suddenly "showing up" in McCain's poll numbers with one week to go. I'm going to post this first diary knowing that in this day and age, it is often frightening to paint the world with clarity and honesty, as it doesn't always generate a pretty picture. But in doing so, I am counting on you all to understand how urgent YOUR WORK in getting out every last vote for Obama is, and that GOTV is much more than a collection of letters - it is our direct ticket to the future we want, and opening the minds of those who have managed to stay outside of the rapid decay of the middle class in 21st century America...
